How it started
On April 30, 2007, our first Pumi came to live
with us. This was
Györgyudvari Cudar Bejgli,
or Enya
as we call her.
Our enthusiasm for
this spontaneous Hungarian breed was not a total surprise. After
living for more then 15 years with a Puli and many Schapendoezen,
the Pumi turned out to have the perfect character for us.
Conceited, one-person-minded, intelligent, will to please,
and unbelievable fast. Certainly not an every mans friend like the Schapendoes
but with a much more practical coat than a Puli.
After an extensive search, we found Enya,
who was looking for a new home at the age of 1,5. She turned out to
be everything we look for in a dog.
September 2007,
we decided that we wanted another Pumi, but this time a male puppy.
This turned out to be Veresi Akácos Csúzli "Chippy". November 2007,
we picked him up from the breeder in Hungary. |
