Isis pedigree

Our Pumi addiction has reached new heights. First with Enya and Chippy, then during the summer when we tried for our first litter with her. Unfortunately, she turned out not to be pregnant, so our plans to keep one of the puppy’s went up in smoke. The male we used was not fertile.

Nevertheless, we still want our third pumi, so we started a new search. Through many websites we have been looking for a good combination and as little as possible similarities in pedigrees with pumi’s in the Benelux. At the Szürkebarat kennel in Hungary, we found a litter with 2 males and 4 females out of excellent parents.

When we inquired about the availability of a female, all of them were spoken for. One buyer was in doubt if she wanted a puppy out of this litter or the next one. After a week of waiting, the people of the Szürkebarat kennel decided for them and offered the female, Szürkebarát Ékkő Isis, to us. She is black-born bitch, she has turned dark grey. Ékkő means gem in Hungarian but we will call her Isis. Friday the 19th we went to Csobánka, near Budapest, to pick her up.

Isis grown up to be a very nice pumi bitch, she won nice prices at the dog shows and is really enjoying agility. In 2011 Edwin will start with Isis in the A-medium.
